Reciprocity Rx™ creates spaces—online and on the land—where you can slow down, listen, and remember that you’re part of a larger web of care.
Through a combination of online tools, seasonal practice series, and in-person programs, we invite you to:
Every experience we facilitate is designed to build confidence, compassion, and resilience—not just for individuals, but for communities and the lands and waters that hold them.
Whether you join us from a city sidewalk, a national park, or your living room, you’re welcome here. This is a place to set down what you’ve been carrying and remember you don’t have to do this alone.
At the heart of Reciprocity Rx is a simple, relational framework we call the 4Rs. It’s less about self-improvement and more about how we live in relationship—with ourselves, each other, and the land.
Receive: letting care, support, and resources actually land, so you’re not carrying it all alone
Reflect: pausing to notice what’s true, what hurts, and what’s ready to change—for you, the people you serve, and the places you protect
Return: offering your time, attention, and resources in ways that are sustainable and aligned with your values (not self-erasing service)
Reconnect: with your own body and purpose, the teams and communities around you, and the lands and waters that hold your work
We also work with a guiding idea we call Different Landscapes, Different Medicines.
Mountains, deserts, savannas, water, and forests each offer a different kind of support—perspective, clarity, collaboration, flow, interdependence.
In our programs and practices, we look to these landscapes as teachers. You don’t need to live near a national park to participate; a balcony, backyard, city park, or remembered trail is more than enough to begin.
The Reciprocity Rx Collective is a hub for education, reflection, and community built around healing, stewardship, and self-discovery in relationship with the land.
Our main community feed—a place for real conversations with real people who get it. Share trail photos, small wins, hard days, and reflections from your practices. No ads, no doomscrolling, no weird uncles. Just a gathering place for like-hearted humans who love nature and growth.
A free collection of gentle tools that introduce the 4Rs Framework and Different Landscapes, Different Medicines. These short lessons and practices are designed as weekly touchstones or “drop in when you can” support for busy, tender humans.
Donation-based series offering seasonal practices to help you Receive, Reflect, Return, and Reconnect throughout the year. Think low-lift invitations, not more homework.
Our immersive online certification for providers, protectors, and pathfinders who want to integrate Reciprocity Rx into their work with patients, clients, teams, or communities. Inside this space you’ll find the full curriculum, live sessions, peer support, and practical tools to help you bring the 4Rs Framework and nature-based practices into real-world care and leadership—without burning yourself out in the process.
Our flagship self-discovery journey, rooted in Sydney Williams’ story in Hiking Your Feelings: Blazing a Trail to Self-Love. This space is where we explore limiting beliefs, practice self-compassion, and build a relationship with ourselves that can actually hold the life we’re creating.
A supportive space for folks living with or at risk for diabetes who want to bring nature, movement, and self-compassion into their care journey. We combine education, lived experience, and trail-inspired practices to support whole-person health.
This space is for you if…
You do not have to be “outdoorsy,” have the “right” gear, or live near a national park to belong here. If you’re curious about a more reciprocal way to live and lead, you’re in the right place.
The Reciprocity Rx Collective grows out of years of work under Hiking My Feelings® and Wellness in the Wilderness Consulting—from Sydney’s journey in Hiking Your Feelings: Blazing a Trail to Self-Love to countless miles hiked, stories shared, and communities built on public lands across the country.
The names and structures have evolved, but the heart has stayed the same: healing is possible, your story matters, and the land is a powerful partner in the process. Welcome to the next chapter. Welcome to the wild. Welcome home.
